There are worldly laws and rules, human moralities and ethics, conscience etc., (and of course, the laws of matter that exercise the curiosity of scientists and scholars so much).
But Reality is everything. It needs no such structures as laws or rules to define or support It. Mystics experience That Reality and become That.
So mystics avoid confrontation with what are to them inconsequential human laws and perceptions. This avoidance is autonomous in mystics as it is in gnats in rain dodging raindrops.
Human laws and rules play little part in the development of a true mystic’s non-human consciousness in Reality so far as I can see … so much so, most mystics are subconsciously accepted as harmlessly legal, decent and honest.
Reblog these posts as much as you like. No copyright is imposed. About the author: Keith is a "pratyeka" mystic according to Buddhism because his Mystical Experiences of Reality (MER) were spontaneous. (He is not a Buddhist or member of any religion). He had MERs every year from the age of 15 to 35 years of age. Pratyeka mystics don't teach, preach, evangelise, or prosletise what they know. However, when Keith recognises those who are chosen and driven to seek Ultimate Reality he does reach out to them, cautiously, to help them stop floundering and recognise themselves, know what is happening to them. Then his inclination is to remove himself unless called upon. All Is Well.
