  1. Aurobindo’s book “The Life Divine” is 1,000 pages with a 98 page index. I have read it twice: first when preparing my master’s thesis and many years later when researching for my ebook on comparative mysticism

  2. If I had known of the existence of Sri Aurobindo when I started having my yearly mystical experiences of Reality from the age of early 15 to late 30’s I’m sure I would not have hidden the fact from the world as I did for 65 years or so. I’m sure I would still be living near where Sri Aurobindo lived in India! He is writing from his own mystical experiences about MY experiences … Reality quite clearly taught us much the same thing, except for the concept of the spiritual hierarchy of the human mind. I didn’t experience that.

But his mention of people like us being “godlike” and knowing “God” is a surprise, sounds like use of human concepts, absolutely nothing to do with the non human, non biological Reality I experienced.

I’m reading the ebook version of Sri Aurobindo’s book Ron mentions above. I might have more observations to post when I’ve digested it.
