A momentous shift in the scientific perception of human reality?

Dr Päs writes:
“The 3,000-year-old concept of monism* may actually help modern physicists in their struggle to find a theory of quantum gravity and make sense out of black holes, the Higgs boson, and the early Universe.
“Chances are high that we witness the beginning of a new era where science is informed by monism and the Universe is perceived as a unified whole.”
* “Monism: The view in metaphysics that reality is a unified whole and that all existing things can be ascribed to or described by a single concept or system”.
Dr. Heinrich Päs is professor of theoretical physics at TU Dortmund University in Germany. He is the author of The Perfect Wave: With Neutrinos at the Boundary of Space and Time (2014) and The One: How an Ancient Idea Holds the Future of Physics (2023).
COMMENT: The fact this realisation has been known to humanity since ancient times is new to me and comes as a shock. It is one of the tenets of my own personal mystical experiences I thought only I and maybe a few others had been given to know!
It has been suppressed throughout history by murders, strangulation, imprisonments, cutting out of tongues and tortures according to Dr Päs, but resistance to it in science today is still being increasingly challenged … is this a momentous paradigm shift in the common notion of the human condition?
