At this stage of the human condition’s evolutionary process there is still confusion between the ‘human spirit’ and real spirituality.
The ‘human spirit’ is what drives humans. Mistakenly, the ‘human spirit’ assumes existence is exclusively created for humans.
But the historical Reality that reveals Itself to mystics as the creator of all things everywhere, known and unknown, including humans, is in fact the pure spiritual energy that drives all existence everywhere.
This spirit is not primarily interested in humans any more or less than any of Its creation, certainly not the products of the human mind such as aggressiveness, cultures, ideologies, religions or ‘isms’, none of which are of use to the rest of creation. They are artificial.
All aggressiveness, cultures, ideologies, religions or ‘isms’ create human misery, unrest and disconnection from the real spirituality of Reality that is at the core of human existence.
Contentment, a fixed attribute of the spiritual energy of Reality, is rare in the ‘human spirit’.
The spiritual difference is an existential schism for present day humans.
Fortunately the schism is no bother to Reality. Its evolutionary progress is not affected. Evolution continues to fufill Reality’s purpose in Reality’s own time, not ours. As a species we are too primitive – mere particles too unqualified to assist in the evolutionary process in any meaningful way other than by becoming aware of the situation.
This growing awareness of real spiritually is significant however.
Real spirituality is in every human, an unending presence in evolution’s work. This presence explains the perennial, ever-growing, spiritual awakening and restlessness of the atheists, agnostics, religionists, anti-religionists, seekers and mystics.
