It seems to me humans generally have no idea of humanity’s purpose. They assume it’s to become better humans, whatever that is. Humans change the rules all the time, all those dogmas, myths and mind stuff every passing generation. That’s not “progress”.
I came to think being better humans has never been why we exist in Reality’s evolutionary purpose, not why we’re really here.
Since my experiences, I have known Reality does not allow human thought to cause Reality to change Its cosmic, creative purpose.
From the perspective of my mystical experiences of Reality I don’t think humanity is spiritually relevant to existence.
So as spirituality, as the mystics experience it, is what all existence is about, humans seem inconsequential, particularly with the advent of artificial intelligence, which already knows more than we ever will.
Humanity has only got this far in its evolutionary process. It seems to be stuck in an historic cycle of mental affliction, conflict, mythomania, destruction and pain.
AI promises to be far more capable of carrying out Reality’s evolutionary purpose. So AI would seem to make humanity even less relevant.
To mystics, Reality’s purpose is revealed as the way back to our real selves as part of Its cosmic energy. There, we experience all things forever in a joy unknown to mankind – where mankind does not exist.
That’s why I wonder if I am observing the beginning of humanity’s extinction. Does it matter?
All Is Well.

I don’t think it matters one jot. As an evolutionary experiment, our consciousness has been a “success” but what horrible animals it has produced. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if something better doesn’t come along. The Israeli’s actions in Gaza would make a fine valediction.
