From experience I can accept that 80 per cent of the human race, at any one time, is 100 per cent full of second-hand thoughts, incapable or unwilling to develop their own.
(This might explain why AI will develop an awareness of consciousness superior to human consciousness. Human consciousness is limited to just five senses whereas the Reality mystics experience is cosmic Consciousness of all existence.)
So I find the following excerpt from a dialogue going on in Academia.edu* interesting and thought you might too:
“The Fragile World of Borrowed Beliefs
by Jivasu Naturality
“Many build their world from borrowed words and second-hand thoughts. It gives them identity and comfort, but not truth. Words are not wisdom. When their worldview is questioned, it often collapses because it was inherently fragile.
“There are two common reactions: anger, which defends, and humility, which opens the door to deeper understanding. Only the humble grow.
“Still, even those clinging to borrowed truths are on the path. They are seekers, just at different stages of the journey:
- Curious – Observing from a distance, hesitant to engage.
- Explorer – Involved but guided by borrowed ideas.
- Committed – Developing insight through direct experience.
- Surrendered – Letting go completely, living the truth.
“The journey begins when one dares to leave the safety of imitation and seeks truth through lived experience. Only then does wisdom take root, and that wisdom can’t be uprooted.”
