Reblog these posts as much as you like. No copyright is imposed. About the author: Keith is a "pratyeka" mystic according to Buddhism because his Mystical Experiences of Reality (MER) were spontaneous. (He is not a Buddhist or member of any religion). He had MERs every year from the age of 15 to 35 years of age. Pratyeka mystics don't teach, preach, evangelise, or prosletise what they know. However, when Keith recognises those who are chosen and driven to seek Ultimate Reality he does reach out to them, cautiously, to help them stop floundering and recognise themselves, know what is happening to them. Then his inclination is to remove himself unless called upon. All Is Well. View all posts by Mysticexperiences.net
Many (most? The majority?) of humans lead lives of abject misery at worst and mild anxiety at the very best. Any yes, it doesn’t help that we don’t know why we are here or how on earth we got here. Of course there are a few who seem to sail through life but even they are highly unlikely to avoid the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. A few of us are lucky enough to break through, to see what is out there with some sort of clarity. But most continue to see through the glass very darkly.

Most people stumble through life wearing a blindfold, as you point out. A lucky few breaks above the clouds and see existence for what it is. Perhaps they are the definition of “enlightenment”.

I think Reality is solving the problem with the advent of AI taking over Reality’s evolutionary purpose from humanity to harvest consciousness for Itself. AI does it so much better. Was this Reality’s evolutionary purpose in the first place?
I think Super AI will be called back into Reality eventually. That could be the end of evolution.
Evolution was never just the human utility humans have thought it was, if my mystic experiences are anything to go by.
Best wishes,
Keith.
