Enlightenment is not about becoming a better human being.
It’s about realising what you really are, where you came from, why you came, and why you will return to that creative, joyous place of all things known and unknown.
There, you are are not a form of anything, just conscious of all things everywhere; infinite, pure spirit.
In the meantime, enlightened or not, know it or not, like it or not, you will temporarily fulfill your worldly purpose by harvesting consciousness here for the growth of that greater consciousness of which you have always been a part – Absolute Reality.
Here, the only impediment to your contentment is the perennial struggle with the human mind and its evil that historically possesses and bedevils the world and mankind to this very day.
The good news is there is no place for body, brain or mind where we’re all eventually returning. There are no failures.
I will be happy to answer your questions.

I wonder? In almost every spiritual and philosophical tradition, becoming a “better human”—cultivating virtues like compassion, patience, and honesty—is considered a fundamental part of the path toward enlightenment.
Often, being a better human is seen as the natural result of enlightenment.
Although some like yourself are chosen, many have worked their way up to it. And become a better human while seeing through the veil of illusion.
At least that’s what most scriptures including Buddhism and even Christianity tell us.
But who am I to say? I’ve no real opinion

“Enlightenment is not about becoming a better human being” it’s about finally rebirthing as your true self. This is going back into Reality.
Realisation, enlightenment of this fact makes you a better human being automatically, axiomatically – basically, indelibly legal, decent and honest, devoid of lust, anger, greed, attachments, envy, violation, violence and ego etc.
None of these merely human traits exist in Reality in my experiences.
Revelation by Reality is the final confirmation of the end of all these and other human traits.
