HIGHER HUMAN SELF II

If you watch Professor Gino Yu of Hong Kong Polytechnic University being interviewed on the Closer To Truth series on Consciousness, you may wonder if it’s eastern mystics who are going to find it easier to eventually inherit existence than western mystics.

Professor Yu affirms the eastern difference in addressing consciousness from an experiential attitude rather than an intellectual one.

Are western scientsts and academics stuck in matter, physicality – the antithesis of the experience of Reality?

Not if Professor Yu has anything to do with it. He expands his assertion.

As I understand it, he says being aware of the Actual, always deliberately applying consciousness to everything seen and felt with the personal attributes of consciousness we already have, is nearer the truth than using our mind/intellectual processes that only deliver surmise, not the proof from actual experience of Reality.

Which all mystics, east and west, north or south, of whatever colour, of hot climes or cold, in whatever culture or lack of one, in all phases of history, have known all along.

  1. “An experiential attitude rather than an intellectual one.”
    That is certainly my experience.

As I have just written “Will you listen, perchance, to a holy man or prophet. Does philosopher or mage have the answers you seek, a fool even.”

    All best wishes
