EXPERIENCE V. OPINION

QUESTION: You say you have no doubts about your mystical experiences and that has given you “the certainty of one of the spiritual gifts, discernment”. Can you explain this?

ANSWER: Yes. It’s being able to realise experience beats conjecture and the foolishness, even danger, of expressing unproven opinion or conjecture.

I realised I had been alienated all my life by what turned out to be appeals for me to believe in and support actions based on opinion; secondhand stuff; gossip; hearsay; mindreading; supposition; logic or reason; faith, hope, or belief; custom; morality or ethics; suspicion; indications, etc, etc., etc.

I think these states of mind are common human afflictions. They go a long way to explaining the chaos of modern and ancient human history.

Since being given the ability to discriminate, I see the difference between what is real and what is not.I can see that if what someone is telling me – either in person or by press radio, television, parliaments or cultural traditions – aren’t based on their personal experience then it likely doesn’t exist. Simple as that.

Such gullible artificiality goes a long way to explaining the historically uncertain results of the human condition.

Consequently, the human condition is a seething brew of discontent that never fully slakes anyone’s longing for any kind of reality, human or Real.

Q: Does this explain why you say you are withdrawn from human contact?

A: Yes. Experience is the basis of all true knowledge and understanding. If someone is caught inextricably in the human state of artificiality as so many are, what is the point of fostering what can only be an empty delusional relationship with them?

Q: Doesn’t this alienation dismiss 100 per cent of all interaction with the human race?

A: Mostly! But not 100 percent of the human race because The Pareto principle states that roughly eighty per cent of all effects comes from twenty per cent of their cause. So this could mean twenty per cent of the human race (7,800,000,000 people as of March 2020 according to Wikipedia) means about 39,000,000 people are mystic or becoming mystic at any given time – but someone better at sums had better check that percentage calculation!

This doesn’t mean this twenty per cent is available to me. After all, what would we in the twenty per cent have to say to each other anyway? They don’t want to engage in human small talk any more than I do. They wouldn’t need to talk about our shared mysticism either because it’s beyond our ability to influence the phenomena.

Q: So you’re left with no one?

A: Yes!

Q: Isn’t that sad?

A: Well, for humans with a need for gregariousness it might lead to loneliness or worse but to me it removes a major aggravation. To me, as a mystic, solitude is contentment, a spiritual gift; a rare human commodity …

Eighty per cent of people get hung up on what other eighty percenters like themselves say and think. They never know themselves. They’re secondhand.

The mystical experience of Reality reveals true Reality.

However if this sounds like bad news, there is good news – the human race is terminal – just like the other ninety nine per cent of sentient life on earth that we’re told has become extinct! LOL!

Onwards and upwards!
