What arrogance it is to say because religions are being abandoned that God and Godly ways are being abandoned too. This is to ignore the facts:
1. Historical notions of a God have become too small. They are being abandoned.
2. Religions are being replaced by more direct individual experience of the Reality that governs everything known and as yet unknown.
3. The inner personal, rather than collective, calling, ie. mystical experience of Reality – MER, hitherto only historically felt by the spiritually sensitive, Seekers or mystics, is asserting Itself.
4. As this historically known phenomenon, MER, is caught not taught, so religions, based on the MERs of one person who in their lifetimes were unable to pass on the MER experience themselves, religions have been reduced to preaching mere human morality and ethics that are based on human self preservation, more along the lines of the worldly, emotional or political stuff that is nothing to do with spirituality.
5. As Reality’s purpose is not exclusively directed at or for humans so human intervention, worship or prayer is inconsequential for Its purposes. Humans have been created with all they need, not necessarily with what they want.
6. Once this consciousness of Reality is revealed the distractions that veil evolutionary progress, (in humanity’s case, lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego etc.) all disappear without effort as irrelevant – like religions!

Mystical Experiences of Reality
