QUESTION: Your posts seem to raise more questions than answers.
ANSWER: Yes! I think you’re the only one that’s noticed! Or that’s brought it up, that’s for sure!
I deliberately allow more unanswered questions to be left on the table as it were, ever since I was a cub reporter on newspapers and read a book called ‘Publish And Be Damned’ by a then famously outspoken editor of the Daily Mirror.
He was faced with a moral and ethical dilemma on whether to publish a news story. After listening to everyone’s opinions he said words to the effect, ‘Look, nobody agrees on the rights or wrongs of this so let the readers decide for themselves – publish and be damned.’
Ever since then, eventually including a spell as a reporter on the Mirror, I have followed the nowadays neglected rule of neutrality so far as human nature enables me. I just try to report Who, What, Where, When and Why, (and at what Financial Cost, if any). I avoid adulterating my posts with unsupported opinions and as few as possible of those too.
I still follow that formula, leaving it to readers to Like/Comment/Follow or email their thoughts and experiences into the gaps they see.
So please don’t think my posts are the end of their subject! Don’t hesitate to add your thoughts experiences and references, (though personal experiences are worth many thousands of books or newspapers).
Remember – in writing such responses you may reveal lessons and answers that have been patiently waiting for you …
I hope this is helpful.
Keith, a word of warning to your readers:
No one has the answers to all questions, especially about mysticism. If anyone says they do then they are trying to fool you or you are a fool to believe them.
