AGAINST RELIGIONS?

Q: You seem to be against religions.

A:  Well, religions have the potential to be spiritual but religion’s priests and members don’t have any personal spiritual experience or they wouldn’t be supporting religions.

Without the actual experience of Reality, (MER), religions can’t even understand the shadows of spirituality they contain.

Their Gods are too small compared to the Reality ruling all known and unknown existence that only the mystics have revealed to them by Reality personally.

Religions are a remnant, a mere trace at best of the original personal experience of Reality of their founders.

Religions are lost into practising the fallible, popular daily morality and ethics of the human condition instead.

Also, the founders left no actual spiritual teachings because they couldn’t! MER is infallible, incommunicable except by direct experience bestowed personally by Reality Itself.

Q: I can’t buy that. I just can’t. Religions have brought comfort and support to millions throughout history.

A:  True! But it’s all “feet of clay”, mythomaniac, emotional. Religions address human wants rather than the real thing. As a consequence they’re now falling under the weight of their own inconsequence …

Q: So get rid of religions?

A: No rush! My feeling is Reality is indifferent to humanity’s wants. It has given us all we need. Wanting is a major cause of human suffering. So if religions are what humanity wants then keep them until not needed.

Religions have had their day. They will never be allowed to interfere seriously with Reality’s evolutionary purpose.

Q: So where do we humans go from here?

A: Well, only from my own personal mystic experiences I can say that each human being emerges from its human, biological chrysalis created by Reality to finally become infused into Reality itself again.

In my experience, this means becoming our true selves – happy, content, joyous, everlasting, all knowing; where suffering is unknown.

All is Well.

  2. And all too often religion leads to dangerous intolerant nonsense. Christians as a whole still seem to be filled with ludicrously outdated mediaeval superstition. Presumably the same goes for adherents of most of our other lovely god fearing, peace loving religions.

What a wonderful god to worship: the Judeo, Christian, Muslim version who allows the situation in Gaza.

Of course they have an answer to “why god allows suffering” but by that time I’ve switched the light out and gone to bed….
