Academia.edu says it has over 26,000 books on mysticism available for downloading by its members.
A load of them relate to emotional human experiences, or human mind stuff that is nothing to do with spirituality.
Spirituality is nothing to do with humans specifically. It is part of a non-human entity outside human non-mystic experience – Reality.
This Reality creates all things everywhere; known and as yet unknown, even humans.
It connects with humans through the brain. The brain is the passive receiver of all spiritual experiences of Reality including, consciousness that is in fact Reality Itself.
Any true knowledge of existence, spirituality, only comes to and creates the mystic, for reasons as yet unknown.
Reality is nothing to do with most of the self help books, scholarly or otherwise, that offer to to make you a better or more successful human being, that Academia.edu lists.
All Is Well.

Yes to all of that. The human world is a vast, empty, meaningless irrelevance. All we can do is our best, and keep out of the way.

I have written a post that will appear soon dealing with why we’re here. The message I get is that we are being harvested not for our bodies, brains, or minds, but for our consciousness. Consciousness is another aptitude of Reality.
