The vast diversity of religious beliefs and the specificity of prayers across cultures raise questions about the selective answering of prayers. Why would an omnipotent being grant one prayer while ignoring another? The suffering of innocents and the occurrence of natural disasters further complicate the notion of a benevolent, interventionist god. If such a deity existed and had the power to alleviate suffering, why would they choose not to?
Religion has it all wrong. But better not to shout that too loud these days lest you get your limbs amputated or worse.
By the way, I hope you are digging a bunker to shelter in for the forthcoming blitzkrieg? Or will Trump be too busy in the Gaza strip to invade Canada just yet?
I wonder if the Orange President prays? I wonder if he expects an answer?

He certainly has bombshelled Canada into a startled state of hurt and self examination it’s not used to!
As for religions it seems he’s made it a major part of his presidency to make it central to the American way of life again!

I agree, but I still pray- to acknowledge, to communicate, to be in communion.
I also meditate, contemplate – to listen, to understand.
There is not one way right or wrong, just a difference in engaging Source/Universe/God/Reality, however we refer to it.
As you say -All is well (love that)
