IS YOUR MER GENUINE?

In my experiences of the mystical experience of Reality, (MER), the following are sure ways of reassuring you your MERs are genuine:

First, when (MER), happens to you, you’ll know the full impregnable meaning of certainty!

Nothing after that, your entire existence, will ever be the same again, whether you notice or not.

On the other hand, mere human ‘Spiritual experiences’ are just emotional manifestations, earthbound. But Reality is not human, not biological, has it’s own agenda beyond all human ability to understand as yet. It works differently.

Reality only communicates through It’s overwhelming love and unconditional acceptance of you. It guards, guides, rescues and directs you. Any interference in that process causes you distress. This is a direct consequence of your attachment to yourself, the clutter of human wants and passing pleasures.

Mere human ‘spiritual and phenomenal experiences’, even drugs, cannot care for you personally as much as Reality does. Reality never fails. This is my first hand experience.

Second, real Reality usually comes unbidden and only to you. It cannot be invoked, not by you or anyone else however ‘good’ or ‘bad’ you are, no matter how you pray, what you read, hear, ‘experience spiritually’, or how deeply you’re attached to your human upbringing.

Third, it is impossible to explain your MER to people, if my experience is anything to go by.

For instance, when I accepted my first (and last!) invitation to speak publicly about MER, my attempts to describe it suddenly overwhelmed me. I became helpless with the surge of gratitude and humility at the revelation, yet again, of the enormity of my existence within Reality for ever.

My body and limbs spasmed, shook violently, uncontrollably. I shook, became mentally and physically drained and couldn’t go on …

So now I just share my experiences by writing. And even then only for the spiritually sensitive, the Seekers, fellow mystics and genuine scholastic enquirers!
